Generally, we
crack a couple of beers on the bluff top
after a dive to congratulate ourselves for another successful
limit out dive. Today we cracked a couple of beers on the bluff top to congratulate ourselves for the wise decision of
not getting in the water.
It was a day to stop and smell the flowers as opposed to
risking life and limb in the cove. So I did a little macro work in the rain with the profusion of wildflowers blooming on the bluff:

As a consequence, instead of a fresh caught abalone feast we had be satisfied with a slab of ribs and a beer at "
Bones Roadhouse" in Gualala while watching the
Bulls lose to the Celtics in game 7 of their playoff series.

Surprisingly good. I am dubious when a barbecue joint claims to offer Texas, Memphis, and St. Louis barbecue, but I can personally recommend the slab of St. Louis style pork ribs. It's not KC, but it's very good.
Tomorrow will be a better day.
